Basically, the mobile battery is combined by three parts:

1. The core (battery cell)

2. the protection board

3. Flex cable. 

A good performance battery depends on both the core and the protection board. The core as well as cell is measured by the mAh. The higher mAh means higher power it has. The protection board is same like a water tap. It control the electric current and voltage.  But in case the PCB board miss a smart IC, it can’t control the electric current properly that’s why some customers complain the power drain so fast. In this case customer must learn how to distinguish the battery's PCB board's quality, otherwise you might thought all battery is same. Anyway, so the core and board is both important for a good battery.

-Most of the other supplier's battery cell can't pass the UL certificated due to the raw material of the cell isn't with enough Li-CO2 (3.7V). They might take Li-NiCoMn(Ni Co Mn 4:4:2)  to replace. BMT company's battery cell are all full Li-CO2 material and pass UL certificated as well. What will be the result of using a battery cell made of Li-NiCoMn(Ni Co Mn 4:4:2) ? Answer:  the battery cell can last only for a few month and but after it stop working. But for full Li-CO2 (3.7V) battery cell made, it can last for years.
