Fruit hardness ( also known as fruit or fruit durometer hardness )

Model: GY-1

The product is divided into GY-1, GY-2, GY-3 three models used to measure apples, pears, watermelons , bananas and other fruits of hardness , to determine the maturity of the fruit , the cultivation of a reasonable grasp seeds, harvesting time , processing time , harvest storage, export and transportation of picking. It is suitable for fruit research department , fruit farms, fruit companies, universities and other units. The instrument is small, light weight , numerical display and intuitive, easy to carry, suitable for all kinds of fruit for fruit inspection sites . Can also be fitted on a dedicated machine used to improve the accuracy of the test when applied to the professional inspection department .

Design principle
Hardness of fruit per unit area (S) to withstand the pressure of the spring force (N), which is defined as the ratio of fruit firmness (P).
P = N / S

Usage
Before measurement : Turn the dial to make the drive the first pointer dial scale line aligned (GY-1 type of scale line 2,GY-2and GY-3 type of scale line 0.5 ) ; slashing fruit to be tested 1 cm2 of skin around .
Measurement : with the hand hardness, total hardness measured perpendicular to the surface of the fruit , the indenter is pressed into the fruit evenly , then a pointer indicating the start of driving for driving the hands rotate , when the ram pressure to the line ( 10 mm ) of the stop , reading the pointer is indicating the hardness of the fruit , the average times taken .
After the measurement : Rotating the knob back to zero , so that the pointer is reset to the initial mark.

Notes

• The measurement should be loosened before tightening the knob , turn the dial to drive the pointer ( straight ) line is aligned with the original scale , and then tighten the fastening knob. Check the instruction pointer is a pointer to the right of the driver , and if you find it is not, you should rotate the knob back to zero , so that the right side in the driving instruction pointer pointers.
• In order to achieve better accuracy, measured before hand pressure head , two to three times the full-scale extreme pressure to make lubrication.
• when measuring the hardness , slowly insert should be uniform , can not turn the push , not to impact measurement.
• the pressure should be perpendicular to the surface of the head and fruit .
• GY-1and GY-2 -type fruit hardness outer scale units × 10 5 Pa, the inner scale units kg/cm2, GY-3 type , connect a small head , with the inner scale reading when connected to a large head , with the outer scale readings.
