This is an ultra-short throw screen that absorbs up to 98% of overhead light. The dark black UST is a multi-layer optical front projection material designed for ultra-short throw projectors. The ultra-short throw design allows high lumen projectors to maximize light output which results in flat panel display picture quality, uniformity and brightness. With its innovative, award-winning edge free design, the surface material wraps around the frame to maximize viewing area. Edge free means there is an internal framework with wraparound material bordered with an ultra-thin bezel. The screen uses a Ceiling Light Rejection technology. An LED back-lighting kit is optional(addtional purchase) for added aesthetics.

The UST CLR/ALR screen is Ceiling ambient light rejecting Screen designed for ultra short throw projector. Absolutely Flat

The fixed frame design of edge free series ensure the screen is absolutely flat which is essential for UST projectors. Since the distance between the projector and the screen is so short, any tiny curve on the screen will distort the projected image, only a fixed frame design can avoid such distortion. The seemingly flat wall is twisted and deformed during the actual measurement.

How does UST screen works?

UST CLR/ALR screen has a special optical sawtooth structure, applies with a black and white prism, the black layer absorbs ambient light while the white slope can reflect the light from the projection. Lights of the projector from bottom to the top project to white reflective layer then reflect our eyes, ambient light from above will be absorbed by the black layer.

SCREEN MATERIAL

CLR4 is a ceiling light-rejecting front projection material designed specifically for tabletop-mounted ultrashort-throw projectors. The CLR4 features a lenticular structure that gradually changes to absorb light from above while providing proper diffusion to maintain a bright uniform clear image. ISF Certified for accurate color reproduction in a dark room.

SPECIFICATIONS

SCREEN MAINTENANCE

Dust, dirt and scratches on the projection screen surface will affect the quality and performance of the projection image. For optimal results we advise to pay attention to the following instructions.

1) The screen surface has a horizontal lens structure.

DO NOT wipe the screen up and down or in a circular motion. Wipe from left to right only.

2) Please clean the dust on the screen surface with a soft brush or microfiber cloth (rough towel or cloth may damage the screen's surface). 3) Gently wipe the screen with a moistened microfiber cloth with mild soap diluted in water.

Notes：The following precautions should be followed at all times to avoid damaging the material, which is not covered under warranty.

- Don't touch the screen material to avoid leaving fingerprints. Use gloves when handling the material.

- Don't scratch the material, as it will leave permanent markings on the screen's surface.

- Don't point to the screen material with a fingertip or other sharp objects to prevent damage to the material.

- Don't use acetone, benzene, alcohol and any other organic solvents to clean the screen material. Using such chemicals will permanently damage the screen.

Correctly distinguish the top and bottom of the Dark grey UST material. Place the assembled screen on the ground. Look down on the screen.

Example of screen hung up in the wrong direction with lights off. Projection may still look good but when Ceiling lights are turned on the image looks washed out. This is due to the material not absorbing overhead light.

1.Q: Does this work well with non-laser ultra short throw projectors? id be interested in pairing a screen with a viewsonic px800hd.

A: It does work, but it will be darker than normal, as it's NOT the appropriate traditional screen for "regular" projectors.

2.Q:There are some dust and things on the screen, I want to know with which thing or how I can clean the screen?

A:Use a brush to clean along the texture of the screen, remember not to use water.

3.Q: Does this include the projector

A:  No projector included. This is a great powered screen if you need something that hides away when you’re not using it also it’s a great at allowing you to view the projector during some ambient light.

4.Q: What is the return policy?

A: Manufacturer's warranty:1. The company provides two-year free warranty service for the products sold.
