Safety Warning
• Optical fiber and offcuts are tiny and extremely sharp, handle with great care, take care not to prick your finger.
• Dispose of glass fiber offcuts in proper disposal bins. Do not mix them with other waste.
• Do not touch the blade with bare hands as it is extremely sharp. Doing so can cause bodily injury.
• Do not use the cleaver which has a crack or damage. Doing so can cause bodily injury.

Operation Steps
1. Push lock to the right side to release lid. |

2. Push the blade shelf inwardly to the cutting position.
|
|
3. Place fiber on the round holder, put thumb on the press button, then press down the lid per the picture instruction, release it when hear a click sound. |  |
4. Lid open automatically after releasing it, remove the fiber from holder, the cleaving process is completed. |

Maintenance
1. Clean the blade and clamp pad before using it, fiber end face cutting failure can cause by fiber offcuts, dust or similar substance.
2. Clean the blade and clamp pad gently with cotton swab, use only ethyl alcohol or other approved cleaning solutions.
