Easy installation.
1.Simply tap out the two pins on the bracket with the included dowel pin and reinstall using the aluminum pivot.Can be firmly fixed.
2.This billet hinge pivot is a permanent fix for this common problem.
3.Allows to only replace the failed components with the kit, rather than replacing the whole window lock assembly.
Required tools:
Channel locks, or similar pliers Phillips screwdriver Hammer Approx. 5/32inch drift punch (similar size old drill bit or Hex wrench will work) Lubricant is recommended.
Installation Tips:
1.Remove the latch from the window using a phillips screwdriver.
2.Use a drift punch to press down the pin.
3. Remove pin using drift punch.
4.Use channel locks to press the pin back in place.
5.Reinstall your screw nut in window.
6.Use channel locks to press the other side of pin back in place.
